1. Run your AutoCAD program at least once before installing DWGgateway.
   
2. Multiple installations of R2000/MDT4, R2000i/MDT5, R2002/MDT6 on the same machine are not supported. If you have such a combination, DWGgateway will be installed on the last version installed or run.
   
3. Exporting to older versions of DXF/DWG is not supported while using AutoCAD Mechanical or Mechanical Desktop.
4. For Mechanical Desktop or Architectural Desktop users. If DWGgateway menus or toolbars do not appear, please check a file named "acad.rx."  This file points to the location of the DWGgateway add-in file.  It should read as a clear path name.  There is known cases where an odd looking character appears at the fromt of the DWGgateway add-in path.  Please remove this character and save you acad.rx file.  This should get the menus and toolbars working correctly.
